Reach Out and Read Program
The KCCC Library Club is sponsoring a new and used book drive for
Children's Hospital in Columbus. Over 200 books have already been collected for a great cause known as the Reach Out and Read Program which provides books for needy children and also used books to be displayed on carts all over the hospital so children and their parents can read while waiting for appointments or being hospitalized. If you would like to donate new (preschool) or used (4th grade or under reading level) books...please contact Mrs. Hall in the KCCC library or drop them off in the front office. Let's put the love of reading in ALL children's hands!
National Library Week
April 11-17, 2010 This year the KCCC Library is promoting National Library Week with
an "ICE CREAM (I scream) FOR BOOKS"... Reading is a "Treat"! Lots of fun ideas are being planned for National library Weekweek including ames, prizes, late fines forgiven, and free ice cream the last day of the week. Last date to receive books is: March 31st.
