National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) had the first meeting of the 2023-24 academic year. The NTHS officers led the meeting to discuss expectations and community service opportunities. The students are looking forward to meeting their goals individually and as a student organization while serving their community. The meeting began with a lesson on how we all have different backgrounds and paths, but we are all connected and it takes all of us to make the most difference.

Great opportunity for our seniors!

CollegeU-Business juniors met to discuss ethical dilemmas during their Management and Organizational Behavior class. Each team came to the meeting with a dilemma and their professional advice after identifying the problem, possible actions, who would be affected, and the outcomes. Classmates had the opportunity to discuss and share additional thoughts and comments.
Students in CollegeU-Business earn a highly transferable Associates Degree in Business and a high school diploma at the same time.

KCCC's Senior Cosmetology students are ready to serve you! Thank you for your continued support of our program!

Mrs. Gray and Mr. McWatters brought Student Council to United Way's Day of Caring. Students met with Halle Krajenski and Walt Lewis to learn about United Way. They also met with many organizations throughout Knox County to find out how they provide resources and opportunities for the community and to learn about volunteer opportunities.
KCCC Student Council students will use this visit to help plan service projects throughout the year!

Seniors in Early Childhood Education prepared activities for KCCC's preschool for this week! Mrs. Blaney, Ms. Jeremi, Ms. Angela, and Ms. Cathy were available for assistance and questions. Students were free to pick the activities that they wanted to experience with the preschool students! They had to work together and use their knowledge that they have acquired to make sure that they picked appropriate activities for the preschoolers!
