Congratulations to these juniors in Early Childhood Education for receiving the highest scores on the Curriculum Unit Project. This project is modeled after the Educators Rising Weekly CDA competitive event. Students had to select a theme and five curriculum areas of interest. They then had to plan 25 developmentally appropriate activities based on the theme. Next, students selected their 5 favorite activities and taught those to a small group of preschoolers. To complete the project, students made display boards summarizing their projects and presented them to a panel of judges. Pictured (L-R): Mea Watkins, Jill Dunn, Ella Kennedy.
