Students in Sports Medicine & Exercise Science learned about the different types of modalities that are used in the clinic setting, like electrical stimulation and ultrasound. They learned what they each do for the body, how to prep patients, and how to apply usage to meet the needs of the injury. Students in Sports Medicine & Exercise Science apply physical therapy, injury recognition, and athletic training to enhance rehabilitation.

We talked about how you can be kind to your friends and the ways that you can make new friends! Some of the class activities were: Making a friendship tree (in the picture), playing Candyland, counting friends, spelling our names with little friends and we had our families come in for a math and literacy Valentine event!
