Students in Sports Medicine & Exercise Science learned about the different types of modalities that are used in the clinic setting, like electrical stimulation and ultrasound. They learned what they each do for the body, how to prep patients, and how to apply usage to meet the needs of the injury.
Students in Sports Medicine & Exercise Science apply physical therapy, injury recognition, and athletic training to enhance rehabilitation.

Juniors in Automotive Technology disassembled an engine to inspect it for any signs of failure.
Students in Automotive Technology work on vehicles and mechanical systems in a modern automotive environment.



KCCC's Preschool children learned about community helpers and what they do in our neighborhoods. Mrs. Hall turned her library into the world of community helpers and allowed the children to try different jobs that we see in our town. A fun activity for our students! Thank you, Mrs. Hall!







Mrs. Wittel's Transitional Living Skills class visited KCCC's Preschool to read to the children. The children love to have different groups come down to ready to them!




Students in Precision Machining had the opportunity to make a plaque for Danville City Schools to acknowledge a land donor for school sports. We appreciate the opportunity to assist with this recognition! Our students did a great job!


Juniors in Health Technologies practiced and prepared for their STNA testing.
Students in Health Technologies explore a wide range of health careers through practical lab experiences and a college science curriculum.

Helia Salon owner Deva Geiger and Salon Manager Sydney McWatters visited the KCCC Senior Cosmetology lab and did an informational toner class with our seniors. Students in Collision Repair worked on clear coating a tailgate recently in lab.
Students in Collision Repair utilize the same advanced equipment and techniques found in professional auto collision repair companies.


Students in HVAC worked on different configurations of electrical components like 3-way switches, outlets, and light fixtures.
Students in HVAC install, maintain, diagnose, and repair residential and light commercial heating, ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and environmental controls.



Ms. Kenzie, a senior in Early Childhood Education, taught KCCC's Preschool children about friendship recently!
We talked about how you can be kind to your friends and the ways that you can make new friends!

Making a friendship tree (in the picture), playing Candyland, counting friends, spelling our names with little friends and we had our families come in for a math and literacy Valentine event!
