Seniors in Early Childhood Education (ECE) attended the COAD4Kids ECE conference. Students got to participate in breakout sessions with professionals in the field while learning about topics like handling challenging behaviors, how to prevent power struggles in the classroom, redefining fine motor skills and positive affirmations that every teacher needs to hear. Students also heard from the Department of Children and Youth, the new licensing agency in the state. Afterwards students enjoyed a delicious dinner at Texas Roadhouse. Great opportunity for our students!
