HVAC juniors learned the basic fundamentals of installing and roughing in plumbing for bathroom fixtures. HVAC students learn about HVAC service and installation while becoming EPA certified.
Students in HVAC develop skills in the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects for HVAC systems.

The Associates Degree in Business Management earned by CollegeU-Business students mandates students to complete 168 hours of experience in the field during their last semester. Partnering with local businesses, students are given the opportunity to assess and use the concepts and ideals learned during their two years in the program. This time spent in the "real world of business" is priceless.

Students in Sports Medicine & Exercise Science and Individualized Career Exploration (I.C.E.) collaborated together for their weekly movement education and fitness session. Students receive instructions during these sessions on how to properly perform skills. Great collaboration amongst our programs!


Knox County Career Center (KCCC) students competed in SkillsUSA Regional and Super Regional competitions recently.
SkillsUSA is one of KCCC’s Career Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) in which our students compete and participate in. KCCC had 19 students compete in the SkillsUSA Regional and Super Regional competitions, in which 9 of them qualified for the SkillsUSA State competition on March 18th.
KCCC will have 17 students competing at the SkillsUSA State competition–9 from the regional and super regional competitions and 8 more students who are competing in “straight-to-state” SkillsUSA competitions (did not have to qualify in a regional or super regional competition).
The following students competed in SkillsUSA Regional and Super Regional competitions but did not advance to the state competition: Payton Peters, Ella Bouton, Rylei Schulties, Jonathan Cunningham, Landon Pfleiderer, Ethan Moore, Jay Stapleton, Wayde Denuit, Adiel Bressi, and Dalton Curtis.
