
KCCC seniors are able to earn the opportunity to take their career tech skills to businesses and industry during their senior year by meeting academic grade, attendance, behavior, and performance expectations in their career tech lab and academic classes.


Mr. Lubera's English classes enjoyed a fun, educational last day as they played "Reindeer Games". The students had a blast & had fun playing the games in teams!





Congratulations to Hunter, Alivia, and Rylee on earning their Certified Phlebotomy Technician certification!! We are proud of you!!


Staff had a great time at the annual Christmas Breakfast and Christmas Luncheon at KCCC! We love spending time together!


Mr. Taylor & Mr. McKown organized a hot chocolate treat for students on Tuesday as they arrived at KCCC after a 2-hour delay! The students enjoyed the warm surprise!!!

Students and staff enjoyed "Christmas Karaoke" on the last day before Winter Break! We had a wonderful time laughing and enjoying the singing! Thank you, Mrs. Nowicki and Mrs. Bush, for facilitating this event!


KCCC's PBIS team hosted an event prior to Winter Break. For 15 KCCC bucks, students could watch a movie and enjoy popcorn and a hot chocolate bar. Thank you to Mrs. Hall, Mrs. Blaney, Mrs. Lifer, and Mrs. Marhefka for organizing and assisting with this event! The students had a great time!


KCCC's staff gathered for treats and snacks after school last week and held their "Secret Santa Reveal". We had a great time buying gifts for each other and celebrating!


KCCC's Preschool held their Christmas Celebration this past Tuesday in the library. Students sang songs for their family members, got to "ice skate", enjoyed treats, and had the chance to take photos together. Thank you to KCCC's Preschool Staff, Early Childhood Education program, and Mrs. Hall for all your work to make this event a huge success!


KCCC Holiday Spirit Weeks
Wed, Dec. 20 was Holiday Sweater/Attire or Ugly Christmas Sweater Day!
We had a great time on the last day before KCCC's Winter Break!



Students in Individualized Career Exploration (I.C.E.) went to the Ramser 4-H Center in Mount Vernon to set up for Knox Public Health's annual Christmas All Staff Dinner. Great job!


KCCC students posed for a group photo with all students in winter extracurricular activities. KCCC students work, volunteer, and participate in various activities and sports at their associate school throughout the school year!









The Computer Network Technology lab recently was invited by the KTC IT Computer Systems and Networking to attend a presentation by representatives of Amazon AWS. They learned about a Work-Based Learning Program that Amazon has for IT professionals in their local data centers. They also spoke about the different IT roles that were available at Amazon AWS.


Early Childhood Education students and Mrs. Blaney enjoyed a fun education and holiday game of Kahoot before leaving for Winter Break!



Spirit Week at KCCC
Tuesday was Holiday Socks and T-shirts!


KCCC's Student Council attended the Ohio Association of Student Leaders Conference at Nationwide Arena. Students had the opportunity to skate on the Columbus Blue Jacket's ice, complete team-building activities, and participate in a leadership panel. After the conference, students enjoyed dinner at Buca di Beppo's before the CBJ game. Great trip for our students!









Congratulations to Richard 'Jess' McLarnan on his retirement (Dec. 31) as a board member! The staff and students of the district wish him well and thank him for his 45+ years of service.







Seniors in Culinary Arts prepared and served food for an Ariel Corporation Luncheon last week. The menu for the event was: Prime Rib, Roasted Turkey with pan gravy, Garlic redskin mashed potatoes, Sauteed green beans, Garden salad, Dinner rolls, Pumpkin pie, Dutch Apple pie, Pecan pie, Cherry pie, cupcakes, and assorted Christmas cookies.
The students did a fantastic job!!
Students in Culinary Arts plan, prepare, and cater meals for formal events and casual dining.


KCCC's SkillsUSA donated a variety of clothing items that were bought as gifts by staff and students for The Forgotten Initiative. Thank you to all those who purchased items for this cause!
