KCCC celebrates our seniors with "Senior Spotlights" featuring each senior, their lab, the high school they are from, and their plans upon graduation. Congrats, seniors!!

KCCC's Junior Cosmetology program will be open to the public starting on Tuesday, April 2nd. The juniors will take clients on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am to 10:00 am. Appointments are required. Please call 740-397-5820 x3107 to schedule your appointment.

Congratulations to our HVAC students on earning their industry credential! Students passed their EPA 608 exam, which allows them to handle and purchase refrigerant for HVAC equipment. Great job!

SKILLSUSA Highlights

Congratulations to Dillon Boyd, Caleb Rashley, and Albert Ross on their performances in the Precision Machining South competition (Manual Machining)!
Albert & Caleb placed in the Top 5 (out of 22 competitors) in this competition. This is the end of the line for this competition (no national level). Great job!

Students in Precision Machining had the opportunity to visit Fabrisonic prior to KCCC's spring break. Great opportunity for our students!! KCCC's Early Childhood Education juniors recently attended the Educators Rising State Conference at Capital University. Students got to hear from the 2024 Ohio Teacher of the Year and from the Keynote Speaker, Miss Dorina Sackman (2014 Florida Teacher of the Year and Top 4 finalist for National Teacher of the Year). Students also got to attend breakout sessions on topics of interest within the field of education and attend a college fair. It was an amazing day exploring the career field of education!

KCCC seniors are able to earn the opportunity to take their career tech skills to businesses and industry during their senior year by meeting academic grade, attendance, behavior, and performance expectations in their career tech lab and academic classes.

Peyton, a student in Metal Fabrication & Welding, worked on grinding a weld out recently during lab.
Students in Metal Fabrication & Welding use modern equipment and welding techniques to fabricate, assemble, and repair metal components.



KCCC seniors are able to earn the opportunity to take their career tech skills to businesses and industry during their senior year by meeting academic grade, attendance, behavior, and performance expectations in their career tech lab and academic classes.

Juniors in Culinary Arts fabricated whole chickens into boneless-skinless breasts, boneless legs, and wings. All components are utilized. Students made stock from the bones, stuffed chicken florentine and cordon blue from the breasts, and sesame chicken from the legs.
Students in Culinary Arts are preparing for an exciting career in the food service industry!
