During the month of October, The Kiwanis Club of Mount Vernon will be collecting gently used coats at over 25 locations in Knox County. Ohio’s In-Demand Jobs Survey allows the state to collect feedback based on what Ohio businesses need, creating a portal for Ohioans to learn what jobs will be important now and, in the future, so they can better plan their pathway to a successful career. The survey is open to any registered business in Ohio, allowing businesses of all sizes and in all areas of the state to share their needs.
Take the survey now by visiting TopJobs.Ohio.gov/Survey.
Your responses will help build Ohio’s Top Jobs List, which helps direct the spending of federal funding for education and training programs in Ohio. Don’t miss this opportunity to share what your business needs!

Did you know? KCCC students volunteered over 5,000 hours of service to Food

October is National Principals Month!
KCCC appreciates its principals! They have many duties as principals in a career center.
They meet each day with optimism and expect the best. They love interacting with our students and supporting them as they learn new things.
Thank you for all you do Mr. Hankins, Ms. Robinson, Mr. Fisher, and Mr. Riggle!

Mrs. Kallay & Mrs. Adkins get extra excited each year when they teach Henry David Thoreau's Walden! His words of wisdom can be a great reminder to us all to simplify, slow down, and appreciate the lessons that living each day can teach us.
